Form 1023 is used to tell the Department of Home Affairs that information previously provided in a visa application, on a passenger card, or in response to a notice was incorrect. Several provisions of the Migration Act 1958 require this correction, and the obligation continues even after a visa is granted. Failing to correct incorrect information can lead to a visa being refused or cancelled.
